Music Baton

Bored out of my tree down here in the dungeon aka the hot tub room. I've been sitting here for nearly 3 hours. Kill me now.

Anyhow, have decided to do the music baton to ease my bored mind. Doesn't help that I just chugged coffee and scarfed down some ginger-snaps so now I am bouncing off the walls and sitting here waiting for the people to come fix this messs is not cutting it.

Great, the dudes just came to look at it and apparently the water table has raised so much that it's seeping in through the foundations of all the houses in Chestermere. It's not just leaking in the hot tub room now, it's leaking through the luandry room, Karen's room and the mechanical room for the pool.

And apparently it's gonna start moulding if we don't do something soon. And Karen and my mom are allergic to mould. And I think my dad's just about lost it. And I'm laughing (I'm such a little trooper).

Groan. Ok. I will do the music baton just to ease my mind and to drown out the voices of thing 1 and thing 2 who are loooking at the leak. They're the prototype Canadian handymen who run around in tight white-washed jeans and trucker hats looking at leaks and floor drains going "oh yah, oh yeah! Gotcherself a leak therrr eh?"

Good grief. Had to bite my cheek to stop from laughing.

OK. Where was I? Oh yes, music baton:

Total Volume of Music Files On My Computer: According to my iTunes, I have 360 songs. I thought I had less! Nothing compared to Hugh, I know.
The Last CD I Bought Was: "The Garden State Soundtrack" and Joss Stone's "The Soul Sessions"
Song Playing Right Now: "Learn to Fly" by the Foo Fighters
Five Songs I Listen To A Lot, Or That Mean A Lot To Me:
(Keep in mind this changes from day to day. I'm a fickle person. Ask tomorrow and it will be different yet again.) So, in no particular order, for today only, I want to listen to:
1. Our Lady Peace- Thief
2. Blur- Coffee and TV
3. Foo Fighters- Everlong (acoustic version)
4. Vonda Shepard (please dont judge me!)- I only wanna be with you
5. Jann Arden- You don't know me

Pretty mellow stuff for a rather hectic day. It is raining outside though and I am always mellow on rainy days. Ooh! Jet's "Look what you've done" and Foo Fighter's "Walking After You" should be up there too. Sigh, JUST FIVE? How can you make me choose JUST FIVE songs when there are 360 I could listen to?

"Can you put the ocean in a thermos and take it to lunch with you?!!!!"

Ok. Must find food now as am starving. Being a hot-tub room phantom is very tiring.

Throwing rocks is fun! Skip 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...6! Yeah! And now my arm hurts and I hope your ankle feels better. Ice it and keep the traffic low on it as well.
