Make it stop

Woke up totally disoriented, tried to put toothpaste on my contacts and then remembered at the last minute, popped in the right contact and practically clawed my own eye out in pain, not because of the toothpaste but because I'd only gotten 3 hours of sleep.

I dragged myself over to plug in my kettle, tried desperately to locate my coffee in the fridge, only to remember that coffee isn't stored in the fridge. It's stored in the cupboard.

Waited for the kettle to boil, attempted to pour boiling water into my cereal and to brew my coffee with cold milk. Then put a poptart into the microwave and thirty seconds later, looked for it desperately in my fridge. Having finally got some coffee into me, I realised where the poptart was and was sharp enough to notice my milk was missing from my fridge and that somehow, my box of cereal was in its place. Looked frantically for milk and found it in my cupboard.

All this and I've only written four exams. Three more to go.

I haven't even started to study for the exam I have tomorrow and before then,I need to run around town running a million and one errands.

To make matters worse, I've suddenly turned into the Dr. McDreamy of roommates and everyone's been offering to be my roommate next year. I've narrowed it down to one girl and her husband. They've got a lovely little house that's close to the university with a newly renovated basement and clean furniture. Problem is that I'll be sort of a constant third wheel, BUT they have IN SUITE LAUNDRY (what I wouldn't do for that) and are asking for only half the rent of what I pay now.

My other choice is to stay put and just get a cat next year for company.

I JUST CAN'T DECIDE!

On the one hand, I always complain about how I hate living alone (I'm scared of the dark, so sue me) and how I want in suite laundry and some place that doesn't make me smell like smoke and moldy walls.

On the other hand, I like the freedom afforded to me by my bachelorette lifestyle. I can drink juice and milk straight out of the carton, shout at my TV ("no! don't kiss him! he's a bastard!"), lounge around the house in the homeliest outfits, turn up the volume of my favorite songs and dance around my living room like a mad woman, AND sing as loud as I want and no one cares!!! (except maybe the guy in the apartment below me).

It's a tough choice.

And if I move, I have to do it by the end of the week, cus believe it or not, I leave for India in six days.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Alright, so I'm a little stressed right now. I need to shower and run out to the bank and some elementary school so I can pick up penpal letters to deliver to the kids in India. Then I have to attend some sort of animal welfare research protocol review meeting for two hours. Then I can meet some guy at school to feed a bald eagle at 4:30pm, come home and cram until 2am for my virology final which is tomorrow morning at 8:30am.

Did I mention I only got 3 hours of sleep?

Enough whining and procrastination.

Take care you all and if I don't make it, promise me you'll not let my body lie dead on my apartment floor for days, getting eaten by wild dogs.

Adieu.
